Most certainly! Deliveries can be made to all Auckland address that are not classed as rural. Please ensure that when you are having them delivered to a business address or hospital that you include all the correct delivery details. This can include business names and hospital wards and room numbers.
What happens if my recipient is not present at the time of delivery?
Our courier company has been dealing with flowers deliveries for over 10 years, making them experts in what they do. If your recipient is not home at the time of delivery they will be left in a place the courier drivers deem safe, cool & out of direct sunlight. They will leave a note in your recipients letter box advising them that they attempted to make a delivery while you were not at home and where they have left your delivery.
If you are aware that your recipient won't be home when delivery is going to be made and would like the flowers to be delivered to a specific location around the home or business, then please detail that for us, so we can pass that information on to our courier.
Should the courier be unable to leave the flowers in a safe place, the delivery will have to be re-attempted at a later time. A re-delivery fee will be incurred.
When will the flowers arrive?
We use an independent courier driver we can not specify a set time that the flowers will arrive. We do have two courier runs that leave from our base at 9.45am and 1.45pm. If you do need the flowers delivered as early as possible, then please make note of this to us and we will do our best to have that on the first courier for you.
If at any stage, you are wanting to know the status of your delivery or an estimated time of arrival then please call us free on 0800 23 88 90.
When should I have my rose petals delivered?
We recommend that your rose petals are delivered one to two days before the event. This will ensure that they are in perfect condition for your event, if cared for correctly. Having them delivered a couple of days before the event ensures that you are not caught short of time on the day of your event and that you have the appropriate time, without rushing to turn them into rose petals.
How will the rose petals arrive and how do I care for my rose petals until the day of the event?
When your rose petal delivery is made, they will be in a small box still in the form of rose heads as this is how they travel best and keep for a longer period of time.
To care for your rose petals is an easy process. Once you have received them, we recommend that you take them out of the box they are in and place them in a larger box or basket for more breathing space for them. Please ensure that you do not place the rose heads in plastic bags, as this will cause them to sweat. Once in a large box or basket, simply keep them in a cool, such as a garage or laundry room until the night day before your event. The day before the event, you will need to turn them into rose petals. This is a very simple process and is best done by simply pulling the base of the rose stem away from the rose head. The rose head will simply fall into petals. Do not keep the rose petals in the fridge, as they do not survive very well with food, especially fruit and vegetables, due to the they release.
How many rose petals will I need to cover an area x large?
Our 2,000 rose petal package which contains 80 rose heads would provide sufficient rose petals to solidly cover an area of 212cm x 212cm. If you simply want to lightly scatter rose petals on a table we would use approximately six rose heads to cover an area that is 105cm x 105cm.
One and a half rose heads will be enough to fill up a standard rose petal cone by the time the rose head is broken up into petals.
